Anyone have any experience with the presence of scale insects on food plants?
One breeder told me he tries to avoid using such material, but what I'm wondering is
what will a larva do? Avoid the scale, avoid the leaf? Eat the scale? Eat around it?
I don't have the ant protectors to deal with, just the demonic scales that resist everything
but being crushed, a time consuming process. Satisfying, but time consuming.
