Hi, I'm new to this forum so I'm sorry if I've messed up writing and uploading this post. I hope the photos have uploaded correctly. Basically I've been bitten recently by these bugs that I'm finding around my bed. Does anybody know what they are? I don't have any pets so I don't think they're flees. I've been living here for 3 years with no problems. Just last week out of nowhere I started getting bitten. I'd be grateful for any help or advice you can offer me. Thank you!
You are not being bitten by carpet beetle larva, or carpet beetles, unless you're a very different member than what we're used to. Maybe it's some allergic reaction to the larva, although they shouldn't be interested in attempting to consume you, typically, like the name, they live in organic fabrics and are pests of insect collections.
