Hi, we have acquired a collection of 72 Australian Butterflies and posted a pic online to find out more about these butterflies. We have had some amazing phone calls from people telling us we have a very rare 1 of a kind MALE/Female potentially extinct Australian butterfly in our collection which has been perfectly preserved as a scientific collection from the 70’s and 80’s I have spoken to the head of the government team in charge of trying to find this species of butterfly and avid butterfly lovers, who have said this could be a fabulous museum piece. I would love to show you all a pic and get some advice as to what potentially wpuld be its value as so far people have said it’s priceless. This collection is also something I love to pass onto my children and so forth so if I was to share with a museum how would that work. Happy to send pics I can’t see how to post a pic here ?? I’m located near canberra in Australia my number is 0411686438 happy to chat here or on the phone Thankyou

It will be hard to estimate actual value of your specimen unless you actually make it available for auction sale on eBay for example. We all would like to see a picture of your specimen here and someone maybe able to tell you more about it. In terms of how to include photo here Adam will follow the links “how to”
Look forward to see your collection

It’s not for sale, just wanted to find out more and let people know that there is a Gynandromorph Australian Fritillary found in 1972 They are joking about buying it. See my post in the Technical issues section at insectnet.proboards.com/thread/4692/picture-attachment for how to post photos. You have to use a (usually FREE) photo hosting website and put the link to each photo in your post. Adam.
