Hello all,
it is quite confusing looking at all the Sticho species. Adam was so kind to send me the PDF from Masatoshi Nishimura with good photos and description. I will now go through my Stichos, the vary much and I even have one ( what should be mathilda ) with an additional spot on one Hindwing. ( I am going to sell it )
Finally, I could obtain a STICHOPHTHALMA UEMURAI UEMURAI from bao Lac
pictures taken with flash adn normal LED light ( I prefer the ones with flash) However, is adjusted with Nikon Software so it might represent the color the best. Really a very beautiful species. If someone is interested, mail me and I can give the resourse of another one. ( Before, check your financial condition, haha)
best wishes Joachim

Yutaka Inayoshi told me that the ocelli of many species are rather variable. Dr. Uemura is working on a revision of Stichophthalma but I have no idea how long it will take before it is published.
Adam.

Hello Adam, thanks for your answer. What I meant is that I have a specimen with an additional spot only on one wing. Joachim
