Hi could anyone tell me what nest this is, I’ve been told it’s a wasps nest but I can’t find any pictures that look the same it’s sliver has no access hole and it’s quite hard. It wiggles when the suns on it so definitely something inside I can’t figure out how to upload a photo yet, it’s the size of a golf ball.. thanks James i.imgur.com/OWXD0gD.jpg

That's not a wasp nest. It looks like a spider egg case that maybe has been repurposed by some other arthropod.

Ok, it appeared at work on my week off, (work alone) I thought it was paint or something and touched it which resulted in some of the outer shell coming off, it’s dark brown inside, I’m looking forward to see what comes out. I can’t find any photos of a nest that looks the same. Thanks for the replies guys!

Turned out to be a type of fungus.... not an insect nest at all 😂
