strange phenomen with an Attacus cocoon

Hello all,

I recently went into my garage looking for some things I need. anyway, there was a box and I remembered that I had a coccon there with an Attacus which I bought some time ago.

I wondered whether it is still alive so I took it out and nailed it on the wall. When I looked there after some minutes, I had to take care with my car, I realized that there were 2 speciemens, wonderful males.

I watched them when they filled their wings and finally they were ready to fly.

Anyway, I went into my house to take my camery, the phone rang, my wife was making problems as always and when I  came back I just saw them flying away and disappearing.

I had a look int the cocoon and there were 2 pupas, empty of course, in it. The cocoon was rather large. I was so surprised that my camera felt down and I had to bring it into a shop for repairs, so I have no photo yet.

so is it really possible? Or did I dream?

I'm skeptical. Many unusual things have happened to me at different times, there were typically atypical circumstances...

I suspect this may be an April Fool joke.

Two larvae could spin cocoons next to each other, but there wouldn't be 2 pupae inside the same cocoon as a result, there would be a silk wall between them.
