Fly identification - Near Hope, British Columbia

Hello all, I was hoping to get some help identifying the flies that were on this fleabane before the bees came in. This was filmed near Hope, British Columbia at around 5000 feet elevation.

Those 3 amigos look like a type of wasp not flies. Hopefully someone can identify them further.

I agree with Bichos, they are definitely wasps.

They look like a Halictus rubincundus. There may actually be two species or sexual dimorphism there as there appears to be a bit of a size and coloration difference.

Also, here's a handy guide of bees for B.C. with H rubincundus in it. Some of the other bees look similar but the abdomens appear to be more rounded.

Thank you for the reply! A trusted source of mine, when it comes to insects, said they are bees in the Eucerini tribe. I'm not sure if the species you mentioned falls into that category or not. Regardless, I really appreciate the help!
