Dave- That's pretty much exactly what I was talking about! Thank you for the link. A bit more pricy than I expected. I think the one big advantage of that case is a handy way to transport full spreading boards. I pin foam blocks into Schmidt boxes right now which works great - but this would be a space saver. Don't think it's worth that price though... Also, thank you lepidofrance for the japanese supplier link!

Chris, I have two, one is new but was bought for me by a museum I worked for and the other is second hand. I use them both a lot when collecting and find them really useful. They are expensive but you only need to buy them the once and they last years. One of mine is over 50 years old and still going strong. Sometimes the company has second hand ones, it may be worthwhile dropping them a line and asking. Dave
