Oddly enough, though I travel globally I've not met face-to-face a single member here except Clark! Until now. This weekend I met Paul K from Canada. A great guy, passionate of his studies, cordial and friendly.
It was a great time for me to meet with you Chuck and Adam, the forum is a great way to communicate with others but will never replace the way we can share our passion in friendly meetings. I truly hope that time and health will allow us to meet again in not far future.
Try the shore front at Havre-St-Pierre, much closer to Montreal than the Gaspe Peninsula.
Adam , Havre-St-Pierre is more far than Gaspe Peninsula ( on google maps ). It is as far as Florida state from Toronto. Certainly I will not risk travel there this year. The weather in all North America is not as normal Year and flight time might be different and with all the rains it would be easy to miss it.
Also I was planing to travel to the shores of James Bay in North Ontario to search for Papilio machaon but with unusually cold spring flight season may be pushed off. In Toronto so far I saw only two P.glaucus which in normal years is common here in May and begin of June.
