Mr. Oehikew:
You are a gentleman and a scholar!
I assume that believing in God is much like believing in Big Foot. You cannot see him but you know he is there.
Now there are some that believe there is no God. A they ridicule people like me who believe there is a God.
Here is the major reason there is God and He knows what is best for you. When I was in High School there was a girl Carol Jamroz, she was a knock out. Would not even talk to me. I prayed without ceasing for God to hook us up. Never happened. She married one of those High School "jocks". By all appearances, they were a perfect match.
I met my wife to be in church. She was and still is after 51 years of marriage the love of my life. I need say no more.
My wife and I attended my 50th high school class reunion. I was stunned when I saw. Me Carol. The girl of my dreams. She was huge, I mean huge. 400+ pounds, she had a wider berth than an aircraft carrier. And she needed a shave. And the jock she married, well he came at her beck and call. He was as skinny as a rail. He needed a shave as well. And she "stunk", literally. When she smiled, her mouth looked like a picket fence. She was still blonde, but her gray roots were showing.
It is said that when God does not answer your prayer, he knows whats best for you. After seeing my dream girl 50 years later. I believe in God. It has been confirmed.
And besides, my wife, like me, loves the Waffle House. I thank God for my wife everyday.
A side note: During the class reunion, a another high school buddy saw my dream girl and ask me a question. How do you make love to a woman that big.
I do not know and that"a a good thing was my response.
His replied: "You roll her in flower and look for the wet spot",
Yesserie Buffalo Bob, I believe in God.

Well Leptraps, that suggests that if Carol was now beautiful with a sweet personality and your wife was rather mean and ugly then you would not believe in God. I am fairly sure that is not true. You believe in God without any evidence just like Bluemoth believes in Bigfoot on very weak evidence.
I, growing up in Ohio, realized there are no gods as any thinking person could do. I and my wife have both retired from fine careers as research scientists. My medicare costs a lot because our retirement income is so high! We are both in great health and have traveled the world- just got back from our second trip to Antarctica. All of this without any belief in gods. No belief in Bigfoot either. Just show me the evidence for gods, ghosts, angels, devils, Bigfoot or whatever. I’ll think hard about your “evidence” and use my good judgement.

I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. And, even now, I am a long suffering Browns fan.
I was brought up in a Christain home, with Christain values. However, I also understand and realize that others believe there is no God. And most of them we're tsught there is no God in higher education. There are morals and there are laws. Some live with no moral and others live without laws. And then there are just plain stupid people.
I believe that I have lived a good life. I was born with stunning good looks as well as incredible charm. I married a beautiful lady, that is a great cook, a wonderful friend and lover. Those my friend are gifts from God. That is what I believe, and yes, I voted for Trump.
I was standing in a check out line at Krogers, the woman behind was upset about standing in line the price of strawberries and her husband was still at home, in bed. I made her day. As we finished checking out, I have her a real gift. SBD. I broke wind. It was bad, her lettuce wilted. Time for a nap.
I still believe in God......Something like me just didn't happen.

So I did go to the woods once again. I did feel like some thing was there watching. It is a bit of a strange feeling. Not really fear but you know some thing is there that you can not see. Folks who search for Bigfoot get this feeling all the time when a Bigfoot is near. The Bigfoots were for some reason not ready to show them selves in a form I can see. I asked and at least one of them had been there. I had a talk with them. I think they were worried about scaring me. This makes complete sense. But I think I made it clear to the Bigfoots that folks really need to see them interacting with a human in a friendly way. To many scary encounter videos out the making folks afraid of them. So there will be a video some time in the future. When I do not know. Believing in Bigfoot is like believing in God. The evidence of God is the Bible and mericals and answered prayers by God. We do not have his cloths or ipeshions of his foot print or hand print. We have not seen him with our own eyes. Nor do we have some of his hair. But we still believe he is real. How much more so is the evidence for Bigfoot. We have foot & hand impreshions, even photos of hand prints, hair, other dna samples and plenty of videos that have been proven to be a real Bigfoot by Thinerthunker and FBFB that are not faked. Wake up and smell the roses non believers.

I have been known to be out spoken, especially if you do something really foolish.
For example, I like to go shopping with my wife, especially at the Mall. I was banned from the Mall a couple of years ago. I was just sitting on a bench watching all those long young leggy women walk by when I saw Shamu come strutting down the Mall. When she past by, I looked at the guy sitting on the other end of the bench and I said. "If some one told her to haul ass, it would take her two or three trips"!! I thought the guy way gonna have a heart attack. And, Shamu heard me. Well here she comes, and with a commanding voice, "What did you say!!". About that time she tripped over her on feet, and down she went. Spat!!!. Well being the gentleman that I am and for my concern for other mall shoppers, I told the Mall security guy to get someone to check floor and foundation for cracks. I do not know why, but Shamu put up a real fuss, and for some reason I was escorted out of the Mall. And then banned!
I have since returned to the Mall. I never seen Shamu again, but I sure I saw some of her relatives.

Leroy,
Here's an idea that should appeal to you, Bluemoth, and Bigfoot: You need to invite the Waffle House waitress who looks like Bigfoot out to visit Bluemoth. Bluemoth can take both of you out in the woods where Bigfoot lives. If the waitress looks like you say she does, Bigfoot will be very attracted to her. He will probably come out of hiding and attempt to drag her off to his bachelor pad. Meanwhile, Bluemoth will have her camera rolling. The resulting footage will be shown to representatives of the National Enquirer, who will pay a million dollars for its usage. You and Bluemoth can split the cash. Bigfoot gets his girl. Everybody's happy.

Bluemoth, The strange feeling that someone or something is watching you is part of the human brain and has nothing to do with someone actually watching you. A similar eerie feeling can happen by just getting the idea that something is "sacred". If someone suggests that the place you are standing is special, or you just imagine it, then you can get that eerie sensation. If you are Christian and you visit a holy site for example in Egypt, the actual location where they think Mary stayed with Jesus when they fled there, you can get that sacred eerie feeling. I did not feel anything because I am not a believer but others with us felt things. The same with the ATM cave in Belize. It is considered one of the most sacred caves, with Mayan skulls. The cave is partially flooded so we had to swim a little and walk a distance to see the human bones. My wife and I did not experience any strange feelings, but many people do. Power of suggestion is very strong. If you think the thought that Bigfoot is watching, then you should feel the strange sensation if you are a normal human. This is a survival instinct, very important during evolution.

I understand the strange sensation you get when some one is watching. I never got this feeling be for until I started contacting the Bigfoots through mind speak. Shure I have been in sacred places like churches and found I had folks watch me at different times during my life. But never had I had a feeling some thing was there and I could not see it. That is what happened in the woods. I walked by an area and sensed some thing was there very close by but I could not see it. As soon as I passed by that spot the feeling was gone. I had to pas by the same spot to leave and did not have the feeling again. This feeling I am sure is very different than the some bodies watching you feeling which to be honest I never have experienced in my life. I am sure bigfoot searchers know this feeling well and they probably get scared when it happens. The feeling is a little eerie but there is also some thing else there as well- may be the felling of strong energy? I am trying to make friends with them so we can learn more about them. For example how could they be with me to keep me awake that night when I was tired in some kind of a sprit way? What happened to their bodies when they were with me? So many things to learn!! I have so many questions to ask of them. I hope one day the door will be opened and I will be allowed to learn from them.

It is great that you are getting out there and trying hard to get some physical proof of Bigfoot. It beats us "theoreticians" sitting around saying we don't believe it. Still science is very rarely wrong on something like this- years of stories about a mysterious creature, but decades of no concrete evidence. Back 40 years ago a Physical Anthropology professor showed our class one of the so-called Bigfoot footprints and explained point by point why no creature could walk with such a foot- it would fall over. I'm sure the print-fakers have gotten much better, but scientists still have never thought any of these tracks are convincing. Same goes for the other weak evidence. The big DNA study was convincing that there is no Bigfoot DNA. You are reading things that misinterpret or lie about that data, but the scientists concluded- no Bigfoot based on the DNA. So I applaud your taking action to see Bigfoot, but you would probably do better to work at insects like the rest of us.

I have been mind spoken to by 3 clans of Bigfoot in one state park and 2 clans of Bigfoot in another state park. They helped me when I was tired and when I had a cold. They say many have heard my voice but only some are speaking to me. This is not fake stuff. They are just very shy and need time for trust. They also worry about scaring me believe it or not. They have all agreed to allow me to film when I meet at the least one of them. One day one will show up in a way I can see it and film it. But I also want to learn about them and how they live. They know this already. This will happen, it just will be when the Bigfoots are ready. Yes I still will have fun with insects.

It ain't touching this with a 20 foot pole.
Maybe a 20 foot pole after I think about it.
She is like a Timex Watch, takes a beating and comes up ticking.

I recall a meeting when a special snowflake recounted a gorgeous sunrise in the west. Everyone looked at her oddly. She caught on and corrected everyone- no, indeed, that morning the sun had risen in the west, like a divine event from the pixies. As Spock once said, "Too much LDS"

After meeting Shamu in the Mall, I would not recommend swiming with WhaleS. That would require LSD. Not LDS.

OK, I have read all of the replies, and statements by bluemoth and also rjb. I think the only way to make sense of this is to relax and accept that any one of us has the right to believe in whatever they want. As far as I can tell, there is still no definitive proof of the existence of bigfoot, sasquatch, skunk ape, grass man, or whatever else we decide to call these things. Evidence yes, proof no. I started a thread a few years ago where I presented the so called evidence I found on the internet. Is it real or all just a hoax? If one looks at it objectively you have to ask yourself a few things about this. How reasonable is it that there is a supposed huge hairy ape-like creature roaming around the wilds of North America, and we have not captured or killed one to present to science? How do we know that what people have sighted is truly what they thought they saw? Are the footprint casts we have just elaborate fakes? Is it possible that all of the encounters are hoaxes? These are things I have pondered over, and am still rather perplexed, so my position on this matter remains cautiously skeptimistic, and I am in agreement with most other naturalists.....capture one, shoot one, or at least show us a detailed clear video that presents one of these things in it's natural habitat the way we see any other creature that has been discovered. Show us all something that is 100 percent definitive, and I will reconsider my position. Im' sorry if I am spoiling the fun, but I just want someone to show me some real proof.

Here is an example of what I was talking about. I am a fan of Les Stroud. He is very knowledgeable in regards to outdoor survival and woodsmanship skills. Here he offers "proof that sasquatch exists". After watching this I can only say that what he is talking about is subject to interpretation, it is not really proof. Evidence is 97%, proof is 100%! See what you think.

Leroy,
I hate to break your heart, but I have absolute proof there is no God. That proof is the existence of brussels sprouts. There is no way those nasty things would exist if there were in fact a deity running the show. Sorry...

If you cover the sprouts with enough cheese then they become edible. Thus proving the existence of God
