Congratulations Simon! I hope you enjoy the pictures. For now I only have these 30 pictures but there might be future updates where new sets of pictures can become unlocked. Last week I added a statistics update to the user section so that people can see how the website progresses. Currently there is 74 users and 4000 labels have been transcribed. The next point on the to-do list is to add more labels to the database. I have visited 3 more museums these last two weeks and I took pics of thousands of labels. Thanks, Claude. Thanks Claude, Looking forward to the new labels! I'll keep transcribing as I think it's a very worthwhile project Simon

Great news, I finally found the time to upload new labels to the website. This set of label comes from the museum in Karlsruhe, Germany. The museum had ever since a geographic specialisation in the middle east. Therefore it is no wonder that the set of labels includes the collections of the famous collectors H. Noack and A. Koçac, both active in this region. Another interesting collection came from Mr. and Ms. Heidelberger who both travelled to east Asian countries and collected large series of butterflies. Malaysia, Singapore and Australia are some of the countries visited. The website now covers 1/10 of all Lycaenidae species present on this planet and 1/3 of all genera described. Danis danis collected by E. Bauer (editor of "Butterflies of the World") on Ambon Island.Database stats: Total labels: 22230 Finished labels: 4312 Genera covered: 208 Species covered: 657 I hope that more people will join the project and that the current users will find the new labels as interesting as the first set. Thanks, Claude.
