Hi all! I´m participating in a crowdfunding site with a project on lepidoptera, Phengaris (former Maculinea) to be accurate. If I get enough votes from the people, my project will be chosen and it will have the oportunity of being funded. I want to ask all of you to register and give me a vote, this way I´ll become closer to my objective. The web is called www.lanzanos.com and it´s Spanish, so you will have to translate it, I reckomend to search it from Google for a simple process. Once there register, you can do it inmediately with your Facebook account, in other case you need to fulfill some data (user name, e-mail, password and an anti-bot test) and you´ll receive a confirmation e-mail, in which you probably have to click in the link. Once you are logged, go to the following link and click in the + button, up right, near the box. This way you give me your vote and I´m a step closer the get to the main page. www.lanzanos.com/caja/proyecto/176/It will only take a couple of minutes, and I will appreciate very much your help. If you can make your friends know it would be nice too. Regards, Alejandro A.

Sorry for my delayed answer Olivier! I just noticed it right now! Why changing? Don´t you guess? I give you a clue, it starts with D and ends with NA... There´s a paper on it (I want to get it) Fric, Z., Wahlberg, N., Pech, P. & Zrzavy, J. 2007 Phylogeny and classification of the Phengaris-Maculinea clade (Lepidoptera: Lycaenidae): total evidence and phylogenetic species concepts. Systematic Entomology 32, 558-567. You can also check philogeny of the genus in this web: tolweb.org/Phengaris/112250And finally something new I just found today, a brand new 2010 Phengaris xiushani: Min Wang, Josef Settele (2010): Notes on and key to the genus Phengaris (s. str.) (Lepidoptera: Lycaenidae) from mainland China with description of a new species. ZooKeys. Volume 48, pp. 21-28; doi: 10.3897/zookeys.48.415 It seems there´s an open access file somewhere, but have not found it yet. In any case, the crowdfunding site is not working properly as people do not follow any ethics there, people who register to vote other projects also vote negative to the rest, so even I gathered more than 40 votes I´m at 11 ang goinng down. My last effort will be to send an invitation to the group of Facebook "Mariposas" with about 70000 members, if that doesn´t work I´ll give up with that Spanish crowdfunding site, too new and bad designed. Thank you very much Olivier, hope my indications give you some idea why this are now called Phengaris. I also want to thank to any other Insectnet fellow that voted to me, I´m really grateful! Warm regards, Alejandro A.
