I recently noticed some eggs on one of my chilli plants on my patio in Buenos Aires . I've been following and photographing their development . They turned out to be shield bug ( stink bug in the US ) eggs . . .
You would have to rear them to adult, or go to a University library and search for papers on the adults and early stages, and their identification in order to find out what species they are. Jeff Prill
