Hi
Is there someone who can tell me who I should contact to obtain a collecting permit in the Canaries islands (+ exporting to France).
I have to go there in January.

Hello,the best way to obtain a permit is that a spanish organization makes the transits with the Canarian goverment,It´s necesary that you send your solicitude at least with two months of advance.

I have been in the Canary islands in winter (European winter) and there were hardly any insects. This is just for your information; might be not worth to go through all the trouble with permit, etc. And a few bugs you can bring back in your suitcase anyhow!

I have been at Teneriffa from middle to end of December last year. I have seen almost nothing outside the gardens of the city.

Thanks guys, I know it's not the best season for sure but I have to go there in early Jan. I have already contacted the good persons for the permits, should receive it soon so no problem.
