This topic is for informing members of this forum of new descriptions that may interest them. Very often I discover interesting articles many years after they have been published... In last publication of Lepidopteres (volume 47), there are several interesting descriptions : - Female of Memphis marylena (Choimet 2009) - 3 new ssp. of Papilio mackinnoni by Turlin & Lequeux. Also interesting articles about butterflies of Langkawi island (Malaysia) and Madeire island. lepido-france.com/revue/96-revue-n-47-vol-19-2010-lepidopteres.html

Not a description, but probably of interest for those who are interested in European lepidofauna:
Melanargia nemausiaca (Esper, 1789), reinstated status, in Nomenclatural Notes on Satyrinae (Lepidoptera: Nymphalidae), SHILAP Revta. lepid., 38 (150) by G. Lamas. The author also states the if someone consider the use of nemausiaca intead of lachesis threatens universality or causes confusion, the matter should be referred to the ICZN for a ruling under plenary power.
