Yes, too big, even for this design. It distorts the framework. I deleted your embedded version.

What do you like about this new forum? My favourite bit has to be...smileys!!! ;D ;D ;D   Seriously though, it looks "clean" and appears user friendly. I'm a real Luddite when it comes to technology so haven't got round to trying to upload photos yet but it's good that you can click and expand. It's also good for all of us that it's a platform that's easier for you to maintain - we all know (and appreciate) what a labour of love keeping insectnet alive has been for you so anything that "lightens the load" somewhat has to be good. I personally LOVED the old forum and will still be visiting regularly to read (and re-read and re-read and...) old posts and I loved the look and feel of the old forum. BUT, when I got your old email that the forum had died around Christmas it was VERY bad news. So...I guess before I know it this version will feel like the norm again. Long live insectnet!!! |

Hey, thanks very much. I kinda knew the old forum would crash eventually. It just couldn't be avoided, with no support for it available anymore. But his new technology has opened my eyes to what is going on in modern cyberspace. For example the internal messaging is so easy to use I will probably not renew the Chat Room subscription (front page) when it comes up for renewal soon. I don't think anyone is using it anyway.
But this new forum is completely dependant on the free host. I don't like that idea, and soon you will see third party ads appearing, but I have no other choice right now due to my current situation.
We need to keep the traffic up for our banner advertisers, so please visit them frequently.

it is indeed greatest insects site in this wolrd! Thanks Clark offer us such nice stage we can gather here to share our experiences/happiness/and time!
since it was "newborn",i registed very quick,much more convenient than the previous one. very good and easy to use. i think it will occupy one majour part of my leisure time.
hope we all will spend happy time here!
