I am looking for Hemicarabus serratus to complete my "Hemicarabus" section. I am from Europe so this specimen is hard to find for me. Any help is welcomed!! Otto M.

I have one Hemicarabus serratus left from the 2010 season. It's missing two tarsal claws. Will trade for a Hemicarabus macleayi. Interested?

Hello definitely interested. Hemicarabus macleayi is no problem.
Can you get few more serratus this year?
I am from Czech Republic. Best to arrange everything via e-mail: transalpinus1@yahoo.com Thanks Otto

I collected this species in pitfall traps in June, July, and later in August and September. However, I need a permit to collect them, since they are at Sandridge State Forest. Couldn't do it, until I get a renewal. Jeff Prill

Hello Jeff, sorry for being late. Do you have any H. serratus which you can miss?? If so,let me know what you want for them.... I understand that there are certain difficulties as you wrote. Otto.

All of my extras have gone to Spain, and someone that I had been trading with back in the late 80's. The renewal on the permit will be going in this month, but it will be for Cerambycidae work. Jeff Prill
