39 over... due to the uncorrect method of the storage and the ways that i posted back home took many days plus it was summer high temputure and moist,a few specimens were badlly molded. i posted one parcel back home which took over 3 weeks, and the next parcel i took back home by train which also took many days. that was the main reason. i should have dry them in natural air under sun soon when they were caught. and because of the insects families i collected are too extensive, and everything into mess,so a few insects' collecting data got lost, the main problem was the correct places of collecting data. in my future collecting trips,i will try to avoid thouse problems to reach a better result. 37 is Delias belladonna lugens. A rare specimen in collection.
Ssp. lugens is described from Bhutan, your specimen seem to be lugens too. Was your collecting place in Tibet closer from Bhutan than from Nepal ?

yesi collected in southen Linzhi area (s.e.Tibet),two counties, one is Chayu, another is Motuo(Medog). Chayu is east ,and Motuo is northen west from Chayu. both counties neighboured northen east India. more closer with n.w.India than Buthan.
both of thouse two counties, some south part land was actually countraled by India minority. i still remembered when i was in Xia(down/south) Chayu,i was told if i standing on the top of the mountion,i can see indian villege.
i just collect almost anything colletable species if they come by. if do not collect, that is a waste of resources as i am not the local people there that they can get every summer.so just try to bring back insects as much as possible.
the next summer,if everything goes well.i will abusolutelly return but in eariler season, and go to other southen Himalayan counties to seek other new species that i don't have. thouse new counties are close with Nepal or Buthan. and go to Nepal in passing for a tourism.if possible i will catch some insects just in a warry of the nepal customs cheak the parcel. in passing i will try to have several nepal local people to collect for me every summer if they are willing to.i will tell them what to collect.

here's another important place. as the photo was taken in 2002, at that time there was no any house,no people live. now only 2 to 4 or 5 houses(families),and it is just a name of place, not villege. very primitive. Attachments:

that is also the place i collected Hemisodorcus macleayi & Noseolucanus zhengi. alt-2200 to 2400meters around. Noseolucanus zhengi is very rare by now we know only distribues in this valley. as another my collector friend went to Motuo county this summer and stayed for over 2 months, much longer than i did. he went to many different places there. but did not found any other places exist N.zhengi. we climbed the Duoxiongla mountion alt-5000m,and all the way along with Duoxiongla vally down by the alt-2200m is Hanmi, the place i marked out that i stayed 6 nights. here's a photo of Motuo Hanmi you can see the wooden house, the minotity there only 3 houses, their name is "Menba" minority. this photo is facing west hand of this valley. the butterflies there is not various as i found in Chayu, don't know perhaps was due to the different season facts? but lucanidae are good. cetonidae i did not caught many as they don't come to light trap. but day time collecting into the forest alone is very dangerous, getting lost, leech, snake are the main concern. this small road is in forest and special, because only by walking for 3 days to get out and there cars available.
