Here's an aberration of P. machaon from Modena area, N Italy that emerged recently. Note that it was not exposed to any extremes of temperature, and in fact several similar aberrations have emerged from the same batch of pupae along with normal specimens.
Beautifull specimen, yours is even lighter in markings! I saw a papilio multicaudata pusillus female, exactly like your machaon. The specimen was sold for 3000EUROS, took 5 mins.!!!!! This multicaudata abberation was also a AI net capture from British Columbia.
