Dear collectors, I stated here some weeks ago my very very negatively experiences with Fabrice Leroy Fournisseur Insectes, www.facebook.com/fabrice.amougou.5as I paid in advance and communication was quite complicated and quite long. Finally, after a 6 weeks a got a parcel from him and I was satisfied with the quality and also with the species I got. He promised 325 specimens and send only 225, but I paid only 220 Eur (175 in advance + 50 after parcel arrival), so I was fine. Therefore I want to apologize for my previous negative statement... With best regards Milan Zubrik

Nice specimen. Now I am almost sure that it is not sepipreussiana. Thanks for help.

The sub apical band is very important by my opinion, but is also quite variable and without taking into account also a color and pattern of the both, upper side and underside of the wings, identification is not easy or even impossible. Mainly the underside seems to be very important. Semipreussiana is known from Cameroon and do not known from CAR, but they have about 600 km long border (partially in tropical rainforests) and who know... I bought the specimen directly in CAR along with 500 other Euphaedra specimens and there is high uncertainty of the locality of course... In that collection this one was the only. You are right that despite many similarities, the specimen has also a few dissimilarities. The sub-apical band is slightly different and the ground color of the underside also differs... Maybe it is some hybrid or maybe a new species :-))))) (I would be happy), but who can confirm this?

So, the question is: is it E. semipreussiana or not...:-)

Thanks for your reply, This is enough information to redefine my ideas to buy insect from him. Unfortunately, no other person have send any positive or negative comments - what means that nobody deals with him or nobody is watching this forum….:-) As I have been in entomology for more as 30 years and I lost two times my money doing business with Africans and south Americans I told myself some time ago, that just mad person can make the same mistake 3 times… Since that time I am not ready to send money to anybody from that regions, if I am not sure it is save. It is pity, that this guy does not have any positive feedback, as he offered broad spectrum of small Nymphalidae, Callicore, Perisama and Asterope for sell. If anybody know good and save source of this species let me know. Milan
