Thank you for sharing your photos and travels with us.
I don't think there is another member here who gets to travel around as much as you do. Amazing !
You are fortunate to have such time available to you. I particularly like those Euphydryas alicia -- very beautiful...
A question about those western Colias. Had you not mentioned the names of the three species I would have to say they all look the same to me based upon the photo. Are there marked differences on the undersides of the three species which helps to differentiate them ?
I can only imagine that it has taken years of traveling about as you do to locate and find some of these things.
Most visitors to those western parts would likely never encounter a fair number of those species without the benefit of a guide or some reference specimens to look at for collecting dates and places.

A question about those western Colias. Had you not mentioned the names of the three species I would have to say they all look the same to me based upon the photo. Are there marked differences on the undersides of the three species which helps to differentiate them ? Undersides are more distinctive but still pretty similar I can only imagine that it has taken years of traveling about as you do to locate and find some of these things. Most visitors to those western parts would likely never encounter a fair number of those species without the benefit of a guide or some reference specimens to look at for collecting dates and places. I definitely still rely on other sources to try and find things like iNaturalist or scan-bugs.org especially if I go somewhere new, and I still have many things I haven't yet come across.
