The old version of the Classifieds have crashed (our software provider has stopped its activity). By chance, I was working on a new better version. After 2 nights of coding, the new version is ready. The new version of the Classifieds is here : www.insect-classifieds.com/The new version has many advantages : - you can put some bigger pictures, - it is readable from mobile phone, - it is a secured website, - you can share some ads on your social networks - sellers can give more info about them As it is a new software provider, you will have to recreate an account though. Hello! Have you probably already noticed that the Classifieds does not allow to place an ad? It crashes at the stage of selection between the Deadstock and Livestock and shows the message "A system error has occurred; please see the error log or contact Flynax helpdesk"

Hello! Have you probably already noticed that the Classifieds does not allow to place an ad? It crashes at the stage of selection between the Deadstock and Livestock and shows the message "A system error has occurred; please see the error log or contact Flynax helpdesk" I seem to remember that there were problems with the old system when placing ads using certain web browsers. Perhaps there is a similar issue here too? Adam. |

No it is not, the whole system has bugged.
I have opened a ticket with Flynax, I will let you know here when it is fixed.

Make sure you put a section for ''want to buy''.
Also find a way we can know if the ad is on Ebay or not, this was an issue before getting fixed.

Sure, these options will be available (as all others from the old classifieds)
We have now identified where the bug comes from. We hope to solve the issue today.
I will confirm you here when you can register and post new ads.
I will also post a tutorial to help people use the new software.

The bug has been killed ! (and spread and put in collection)  People can now register and post deadstock/livestock ads like before, see here : www.insect-classifieds.com/Sorry for these 5 days of interrupted service. |

Thanks a lot Dieter, I am glad you like it ! It was important to have a modern Classifieds on Insectnet, especially to be mobile friendly as in the future, most traffic will be mobile on Insectnet. It has been a LOT of work ! |

I don't like, old version was very much useful ....
In one page (an d one view) it was easy to recognise useful thing, now the place is occupied by photos (unuuseful) and it is not possible to check all the new texts (annouces) in one view.

Getting better by the day with more categories and options I see. Thanks for your effort Olivier. There seem to be an issue right now with the attached item pictures not displaying correctly, in close-up only the very middle portion being visible? Jan Thanks a lot Jan. This small issue has been solved, if you post a new ad, pictures won't be cropped, see here for example : www.insect-classifieds.com/lepidoptera/deadstock/ebay-parnassius-wiskotii-female-67.html597 unique visitors yesterday ! The new version of Classifieds being mobile friendly, the number of visitors will be higher than before ! I am still improving the platform. For example today, I've added a "Tell your friend" option on each listing. In one click you can inform your good friend that the Holy Grail he was looking for has been posted in the Classifieds. I will also add a "Report this item" button so that you can inform me if you see some spams/scams. |

Please better choose your words. This new software costed me 600 €, hours of work and is free for all of you. I find your "tone of voice" a bit offending for my work... This said : . I think pictures are an improvement. And many sellers told me so. . When you go to the category section, you can see very fastly all ads : www.insect-classifieds.com/lepidoptera/deadstock.html This said, I will think of a potential solution for people who don't want to see pictures, like an RSS feed or something like that.
