No. Well, we don't have to limit it to 20 questions of course. We can just play until the answer is guessed correctly. Also, having the yes/no dichotomy may be difficult since there are some species for which much remains unknown. If the species I picked is Papilio antimachus for example and someone asked if the larvae consumed Rutaceae, I wouldn't know how to answer since no one knows!
