Is it true that S. idalia is illegal to collect in Indiana? It is considered endangered - but the state has no authority to limit collection. That said, the virtually all populations are found either on state or private conservation lands - and you do need a permit to collect on these lands. John

Dang!!! I am jealous of both, Bill and Tim with their Speyeria rearing. lol I am waiting for July/August to try my luck in finding some Speyeria nokomis apacheana in CA and here in NV, and S. nokomis carsonensis in the Carson Valley/ Gardnerville area just south of me.
