Hi everyone,
I just purchased some specimens from eBay and it had been many weeks passed and no arrival of my parcel, I decided to contact the seller and I got this response:
Yo aun no enviar su Item. El Servicio Postal del Perú se encuentra en huelga indefinida desde el 16 de Setiembre. Yo enviaré cuando la huelga termine y le enviaré el número de seguimiento. Yo lamento esta situación. Saludos,
Translated (seller is obviously from Peru)
I still don't send your item. The postal service of Peru is in indefinate strike from September 16th.
I will ship when strike is over and I will send you the tracking number. I regret this situation, Regards,
I'm not entirely sure if this is true or not, but has anyone heard about some current strike of the Peruvian postal service? I hope this truly is genuine.
Cheers zac

Hello
Yes, it's true, and they are still on strike. My dealer in Peru has been also waiting for the strike to end for sending me a parcel.
Regards

i see that the strike has ended as of 17th of this month. and that postage system resumed to normal again on the 20th. now i will see if i actually get my parcel delivered, as i have heard so much about sellers waiting for a length of time that the sale is out of date and ebay won't do anything about the issue if the seller takes your money.. watch this space..
