Thadeos,
Ok, uncommon they'll be called. I have seen them on EBay in Europe, but have not seen them (as stated earlier) offered much here in the USA. I have to state how special they are based on availability here in the USA w/o my having an Importers license. I realize that what may be 'rare' for someone may be uncommon or even easy for someone living elsewhere. I also realize that 'rare' can be defined differently by different people. Perhaps 'rare' should be replaced by 'difficult to come by'.
Respectfully,

even granti or rectangulata are not really rare. They are quite wanted but in the field there are not rare. daltonae is very much more difficult to obtain. they are at least 20 or more more uncomon Saturniidae in africa some of of them really difficult to catch !

some huntings that i know of rectangulata and granti provides series (sometimes long series), all catchings i know of daltonae are always unique spécimens or very few in each hunting. daltonae seems more localised than the two others.
