when I was on my expedition in Yunnan in the Salween Valley(Nu Jiang Valley) near the border to Burma northwords the road to Tibet I found this Polyura and was happy to find Polyura posidonius quiete common............when I mounted them at home they turned all up to be males of Polyura narcaea menedemus (or ssp.thibetanus?) in the field it was not possible for me to see the difference between these 2 species and there was also a much larger Polyura species around, must mount one to take once a picture Robert Attachments:

Hi Robert This is Polyura narcaea meghaduta from Taiwan...at least I think it is..I bought it from an from an old collection & it has no data. Your male P clitarchus is a stunning specimen..thanks for sharing the picture. Attachments:
