Lets see... My net to the far left... Some specimens in cookie containers, killing jars, relaxing chamber, setting tools, postage parcels, collecting equipment, etc... And what appears to be a living lucanid in a little box... Mine is a six drawer open faced Cornell cabinet, about seven Schmitt boxs, and a cheap shelving unit mostly full of tupperware boxes of papered stuff, wine boxes of film vials with fluid, incidental collecting equipment, the toolbox I take out into the field, jars, etc. The nets, beat sheets, pitfall trap kit, and stuff like that stays out on the deck with my boots. Eventually I would like to get a scope and light source that hooks to my computer, and much more cabinet space (going to switch to California Academy drawers for my working collection of carabids and LBBs, and keep the "collector-y" tigers in the Cornells). My fluid backlog is huge, I will have a lot to do when I do get the scope outfit and drawer space. Oh, that's not a living Lucanid... Its a Chlacosama caucasus which landed on my father's leg during one of his four-wheel-drive jamborees back in the 90's. Its in that container for now till I can figure out where to put it...

Here is my lab! That schmidt box tower is my backlog from last summer... never enough time or space. This is how I want mine to look like.
