I kill wasps every chance I get because they are keen predators of butterfly and moth caterpillars.

I kill wasps every chance I get because they are keen predators of butterfly and moth caterpillars. everything has a place, bats also compete with us, as do birds, cars, cats, lizards, frogs, mantids, spiders, I'm sure I'm forgetting another dozen or so predators of insects.

Cars? Yes - judging from what I frequently see on my local roads, cars are indeed significant predators of various wildlife.

Well, I do my best to avoid running down animals, including our cute wooly bear caterpillars, but sometimes things just can't be avoided, like watching that little speck of sawdust fly from it's origin right into your eye ball before you can react. I know that cars don't actually consume insects or other animals- that would be inaccurate, or goofy
